Ray Kubiak has completed the IBA's trainer path and earned his Trainer Level IV rating. He mostly worked under the direction of IBA Examiner Carlos Euribe and becomes only the sixth person world wide to earn an IBA Trainer Level IV rating. You can see Ray’s Instructor Rating Chart by clicking here.
Ray’s extensive and valuable experience from his years at Flyaway and a commitment, from Larry Hill owner/operator of SkyVenture Arizona, to do staff training helped Ray reach the highest trainer level.
Ray’s Trainer Level IV rating will allow SkyVenture Arizona to train Level I instructors themselves at their own facility, which of course is a significant milestone for any tunnel operation. (A small portion of the Level I course still requires two trainers, so they will need support from another trainer until they develop that talent in-house.) Our goal at the IBA is to help tunnels reach self-sufficiency which means empowering them with ability to create qualified instructors.
